Fulbright Group

Here is a photo of the entire Fulbright group and assorted family members. This year is the largest number for the Fulbright program--13 scholars in all and others on arts/culture scholarships and exchanges. During our orientation, we received Irish lessons--I can barely count to 10 and say hello. I'm practicing here with Justin--who is from Home Land Security back home and working on research here with the Garda for his dissertation from Oxford.

  1. I was very impressed with all these pictures and wondered HOW MANY IN THE FULBRIGHT GROUP and are they in different "subject areas" for their research AND do they come from different countries? Just me, Love, Mom

  2. 1/21/09 I loved all of these pictures..brrr, it seemed cold at points. HOW MANY IN THE FULBRIGHT GROUP--AND HOW MANY COUNTRIES ARE REPRESENTED..AND ABOUT HOW MUCH IS THIS "SCHOLARSHIP" ALL-TOTAL WORTH? Too bad the Irish "language" is a little hard at this time to grasp; worked with a teacher in Machias--6th grade teacher from Buffalo--who was great with Gaelic; at the time--I could have cared less! Love, Mom/Siti

  3. There are about 13 in the group for the spring--all are faculty from the states and the one person from Homeland Security. We are located throughout the country--a group of about 5--6 of us are in Dublin. Lots of backgrounds from the sciences to music to history to accounting.
