Laura is on the Model UN team at Wesley College. This past weekend they had a conference--here she is on her way to the day long event. She was on the team that represented Turkey. The process is a good way for the kids to find out more about world politics and learn some of the negotiating skills required when dealing with others. Though, I have to say the negotiating they do with parents seems to be a good leg up!
Laura looks so great--so beautiful--and reminds me so much of YOU--and all your 'attributes.' Great, great pictures. Thanks for keeping us all up to date..It is in 80s here--and--soon it will be Easter..wonder what YOU all will do for Easter--in Michigan, right? Hope it warms up for your arrival..and..things go okay once you are there. You and Laura are having a "thrill" of a lifetime, for sure. Off to the library, etc.; just made some oatmeal cookies with leftover oatmeal from neighbor Betty who has moved back to Washington; cookies to the "new" people--soon--and made more custard--to use up milk and eggs..shall I ship this to you?
