Here are some of the people pictures from our trip to Edinburgh. Sarah gave us a walking tour of the town that was scenic and good exercise all at once. Laura is seen standing outside the Elephant House--a tea shoppe at which J.K. Rowling wrote much of her first Harry Potter book. In honor of this--we had to have lunch there. The statute is of Adam Smith, of the "invisible hand" fame. As an economist, this was a great treat and find and now will supply a better picture for one of my lectures on finance! We actually walked up all the steps in this picture as a short cut--this is one of the spots Sarah and her friend Rosie use for their running workouts. Sarah is pictured outside the history building of her university--where she spends a lot of time as a history major!
